What is a safety representative course?
The safety representative course is a thorough 40-hour course designed to cover the requirement for HSE training for safety representatives, or if you sit on a working environment committee.
The course is divided into 21 episodes that you can watch and learn from at your own pace.
Who is this course for?
The course covers the requirements for training for safety representatives and members of the Working Environment Committee.
It is also recommended for managers, leaders, employees, or others who want a thorough introduction to the HSE regulations, which working environment factors we have, and how these affect each other from a working environment perspective.
Legislative changes from 01.01.2024
If the company has 5+ employees, a safety representative must be elected.
If the company has 30+ employees, a working environment committee (AMU) must be established. If you have between 10 and 30 employees, and one of the parties requires it, an AMU must also be established.
Since smaller companies now have to choose safety representatives and AMU members, these must receive the necessary training for their new role.
