Questions and answers

If you have 5+ employees, a safety representative must be elected and this person must have the statutory training in place.

If your business has 30+ employees, there is a requirement that a working environment committee (AMU) be established, and the members must receive the statutory training. This also applies if you have between 10 and 30 employees, and one of the parties requires it.

The minimum requirement for the training is 40 hours.

The course has been set up to satisfy the requirements for a 40-hour course. It is not 40 hours of effective course time, but the content and how the course is structured satisfies the law's requirement for 40 hours of training.

The course's videos have an approximate duration of 10 hours. However, control questions and work assignments are planned along the way. Finally, there is also an exam that must be approved.

The course covers the training requirements for safety representatives and members of the Working Environment Committee.

It is also recommended for managers, shop stewards, employees or others who want a thorough introduction to the HSE regulations, which working environment factors we have and how these affects each other from a working environment perspective.
